The short version

• If you join the waitlist, we store your email address.
• The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
• We do not sell or share your address, and you can have it deleted at any time.

What the waitlist stores

When you submit the form we save your email address, the time you signed up and the page you signed up from. We use them to email you about Hearthtail and to understand which pages people join from.

The record is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a database service operated by Google LLC, in the United States. Google processes it for us as a service provider.

We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the waitlist closes, we delete the list.

What the site does not do

It sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels, advertising networks or third-party analytics. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page contacts no other company.

Like any web server, our host (Firebase Hosting, also Google) receives your IP address and browser type when you load a page, and keeps short-lived logs for security and reliability.

Your choices

Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to hello@playhearthtail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold. If you live in the EEA, the UK or California you have these rights by law. We extend them to everyone.

We rely on your consent to email you, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Children

The waitlist is meant for adults. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to sign up for you.

The game

Hearthtail the game has not been released. Its own privacy notice, which covers saves, cloud backup and crash reports, will be published here before the game reaches any store.

Changes

If this page changes, we will publish the new version here with a new date.
